I believe that you are doing a wonderful job with your vocation site, However, I do have one observation. I feel that the site is not balanced in its coverage of religious groups; other than Fransciscan Friers of the Renewal.
There are other groups doing a great job also. I think there should be an effort to display those groups as well.
However, I do not want to take away from the wonderful Job that you are doing.

Dear R,

Thank you for leaving your comment and for your kind words about this blog.

As a husband and father of five, working full time for the church, and in formation for the permanent diaconate, my time for blogging is limited. As you may have noticed I write very little for this blog, and mostly post articles, stories, videos and pictures from other sites or sources. With nearly 900 posts on this blog, there have been about 36 posts on the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. Some are exlusively about the CFR's, others just mention their community. The relatively high number of posts on their community is due almost entirely to the fact that more articles are written about them than just about any other community. The other factor is that the Friars are very savvy about using the internet to promote their community. Towards that end (as an FYI) they send me information about vocation news. Finally, in full disclosure, I am indeed partial to Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, the Franciscans of Primitive Observance, and the Franciscans of the Immaculate because of my personal devotion to St. Francis of Assisi.

Just as an FYI: The stats show that far more people visit this blog after doing Google searches on the Franciscans of Primitive Observance than any other community.

I hope this gives you some insight into why there are a number of posts about the CFR's.

In Christ,
Brad

Give the Carthusian nuns a link! Hardly anyone knows they exist, and in some countries the Little Sisters of Bethlehem don't try too hard to correct any misconception about them being Carthusians... And the OCart nuns are excellent. (they have the same site as the monks)
